I found out about the diagnosis Thursday July 23, 2026. It was hard news to hear. Unbelievable. I cried in shocks but then immediately went into research mode. I had already subscribed to several medical journals by the end of the day as well as applied to 2 local medical schools (j/k). By July 31, just a week later, my auntie Roxanne was en-route to UCSF medical center where I was meeting her, my uncle Roger, my cousin Kristi and little niece Frankie. I think we were all a little stressed due to the unknown, but the group still managed to make all of the medical staff laugh. As the surgical oncologist (our quarterback for this process) entered the exam room she noted it sounded like a party in the room. Somehow my aunt makes everyone smile and laugh just by being around her.

Many notes were taken, to do lists created and appointments scheduled. We were on our way to figuring out a plan to attack this cancer that is attacking her body. This website will serve as the source of information for family and friends who wish to keep up to date with Roxanne’s progress and status. I have created a Diagnosis page which discusses the specific cancer she has, as well as a treatment page that lists the treatment as I currently know it (no definitive choices have been made at the time of this post) If there are specific questions I can answer, there is a mail button at the bottom of the page – I will get back to you asap.

Roxanne will post new entries as she learns new information she would like to share. The goal is to organize what she knows in one place to reduce stress from updating family and friends individually. There are so many loved ones out there that care deeply about Roxanne. If anyone would like to contribute a post or share information, please send a message below and I will add you as a guest writer.

My Aunt Roxanne has a shitty titty, but she will survive.

Love you! Tiffany
